Ryan Driver grew up in Englewood, CO, just south of Denver. He joined choir at the tender age of six and since then no has been able to make him stop singing. In high school he performed at Carnegie Hall and toured Europe with his honors choir, sang in an elite vocal jazz ensemble, and did several musical theater productions as well. After a brief stint singing in the renowned jazz program at the University of Northern Colorado, he found a home at the University of Colorado at Boulder. In his time there, he sang with the top undergrad choir and discovered his passion for a cappella with the student group In the Buff. In four years with In the Buff, he served as business manager and president, twice competed in the International Competition of Collegiate A cappella, and helped produce two CDs. He then went on to sing with the semi-professional vocal band Face before being called up to the pros with Almost Recess in May 2004. When not singing, Driver enjoys working out, watching movies, creative writing, spending time with friends and family, and follows the Denver Broncos religiously.
